GAIA: Green Areas Inner-City Agreement
GAIA is a LIFE project, started in October 2010, aiming to face climate change thanks to the development of a public-private partnership model for urban reforestation through the realization of “Green Areas Inner-City Agreement – GAIA”.
This project has foreseen an innovative process to promote urban reforestation which helping to decrease greenhouse gases and depuration of air pollutants in urban areas.
Impronta Etica is partner of the project, together with Unindustria, IBIMET and ANCI IDEALI – Fondazione Europea delle città.
The project has been coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna and it lasted 30 months.
