The project LACRe (Local Alliance for Climate Responsibility ) is a European LIFE project that involved  the Provinces of Livorno and Ferrara, the Local Agenda 21 and Impronta Etica.

The project aimed  to contribute to struggle climate changes through a public-private partnership model which, bearing corporate social responsibility as grassroots, supports effective strategies to reduce greenhouse gasses emissions of public and private actors, who, in a different way, can help in reaching the common objective of a low carbon economy.

The project lasted 2 years, and it ended in December 2010.
